The story is about a loner, ex-soldier works as a "transporter" delivering any package, person or cargo, no questions asked. Abiding by a strict set of rules, he's about to find that breaking the rules leads to more trouble than he could ever imagine. This movie was a alright action flick.

The plot is silly and kind of pointless, but there are poignant moments of heart amid the flying bullets. Statham's sullen protagonist has some memorable one-liners, but the film's real claim to fame is its intense and frenetic action sequences, which are well-executed and exciting.

Statham's breakout action star making role. Lots of great fights and car chases. Fun enough for repeat viewings.

I agree with Topher, that if this movie had starred someone other than Jason Stratham, I would have enjoyed it more, but the poor acting and the poor, devilishly sickening directing job made me just lose interest. "The Transporter" has a decent premise, but not necessarily was it pulled off to the extent that it was intended. The only absolute thing I loved about this film was the premise.

With any actor other than Jason Statham, this flick would not have been watchable. Statham needs to start waiting for some better scripts to come his way.

One of the new generation slick and stylish action films. Jason Stratham plays the part as a cold mercenary that, like the Grinch, finds he does have a heart. Great fight scenes and car chases make this a good film to re-watch.
