The Transporter review

Everything felt "Hollywoodish" and well choreographed (from the catching of the gun backwards and greasing himself and using metal stilts to fight). Frank (Jason Statham) is a skilled driver known only as "The Transporter and used to be with the military. He has certain rules (Rule #1: "No new deals, when it's a deal, it's a deal", Rule #2: "No names", Rule #3: "Don't open the package" Rule #4: "Never make a promise you can't keep".) and then breaks one then his life goes awry. Acting was so uninteresting and dull. Soundtrack was horrific and even rehashed Psycho's score. Lacks proper character development for the antagonists for overloaded action. Entertaining from the beginning then bores towards the middle because of the mindless fight sequences. The Transporter is about doing …

In fact, the European locations made it feel like a throwback to Roger Moore's Bond. Not only that, but a BAD Roger Moore Bond. The dumb, cliche riddled and episodic script isn't even saved by the frankly lame action sequences; the scene when Statham is oiled up fighting multiple bad guys on bicycle pedals is something Jackie Chan might've gotten away with, but done …

Frank Martin (Jason Statham) well known to the criminal underworld as a driver for hire, a mercenary 'Transporter' who will deliver anything, anywhere – no questions asked – for the right price. Frank just has three simple rules: Number one, never change the deal. Number two, no names. And number three, never open the package. Frank accepts a job to transport a bag across France, on the way to his destination gets a flat tire and has to get the spare from the boot. Upon noticing that the bag moving Frank breaks one of his rules and suddenly finds himself on the run with a lovely Asian girl(Qui Shu) in tow and police and the bad guys on his tail.
One of the funniest battle scenes I've ever seen: Frank fighting off a bunch of bad guys in a pool of oil in a parking garage. As you …
