I love how Cherie Currie got about three seconds of screen time and no lines, haha-she was half the reason I wanted to watch this movie. It was very odd in any case, I guess I didn't realize they were just going to be modernizing the old episodes. It was entertaining enough though, sometimes it's so bad that's it's funny.

The movie successfully captures the spirit of the TV series by presenting an uneven mix of half-arsed sci-fi shorts full of dodgy metaphors and cornball moralising. The final segment is the best, as John Lithgow's thespian abilities are unsurprisingly a match for William Shatner's. Disappointing considering the talent involved.

The segments are different enough from one another, yet very much in line with the original show. I loved the loop around at the end.

Although a bit dated, this anthology of stories still holds up pretty good. My favorite segment is the first, directed by Landis about a bigoted loud-mouth who gets the tables turned on him. The ending is pure twilight zonage.

A pretty good set of short movies, while none of them are outstanding. The "Anthony" segment is very creepy as well as so is the "Nazi" one. The other two are disappointing, but worth it for the experience.
