A couple funny moments but it's spread out far and thin.

'Weekend at Bernie's' is essentially a series of gags involving two guys parading a dead body around and convincing others that said body is still alive. The premise is okay. I just didn't find the majority of gags funny. I can get behind the goofy antics, but I can't believe that the people being fooled could be that immensely dense. Other scenes not involving the dead Bernie, like most of the beginning, are flat out boring.

It's so bad, but so good. This is definitely a guilty pleasure movie for the ages.

Others have said it, but the 80s is the only era in which this film would ever work. The 80s poster man-child Andrew McCarthy and friend lug around poor, dead Bernie and lovable hijinx ensue. It's corny, but still pretty funny.

I laugh big time with this flick, that is very stupid and hilarious. Andrew McCarthy is an icon from the cheese 80s. Nice.

Using a dead guy as a puppet has never been more funny. Only the 80's could give birth to an idea so bizzare and pull it off as a legitimate comedy.
