Although I'm not a Melanie Griffith fan, in this movie she's charming as Tess McGill, the secretary with big dreams. Sigourney Weaver is fantastic as the rich, spoiled, self-absorbed, conniving business woman. You will love to hate her. Alec Baldwin's perfect as the cheating, jerky boyfriend. Joan Cusack is hysterical as the unreserved, irreverent best friend. A great underdog comes out on top comedy. Also great 80s big hair and clothes.
