Oliver Stone once again makes an effective film about a true event, and the toll it takes on its characters.

I guess I was never bored but this was down right uneventful. Remember when tragic movies were really tragic, like Apocalypse now and many WW 1 and WW 2 movies. Stone, you have lost all things good with movies. Stop making them.

Harrowing account of heroism and survival amidst the disasters of 9/11. Director Oliver Stone uncharacteristically sets politics and controversy aside to tell a simple human story, and it works. Final Grade: B

It was an interesting film, but I didnt feel touched enough. I felt some momments as intense, but overall (maybe, sining of too much care) too tight. The acting by Cage was fantastic, but not good enough to save a mediocre film. I preffer a million times United 93, wich I consider a Masterpiece.

A great, emotional story that calls for lots of tissues. While I really didn't want to be immersed in the subject matter, I saw it almost a year after it came out and was more ready for it then. Nicolas Cage and Maria Bello were especially good. Kudos to Stone.

Oliver Stone is better known for the pushing the envelope, but in World Trade Center he keeps things decidedly low key. While it is emotional, I couldn't help feeling somewhat detached from the story. Maybe it was just too soon.
