Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan together. One of the great Hollywood pairings but naturally it's associated with another slice of 1990s romantic nonsense that's nevertheless a harmless and sometimes even humorous chick flick. Nicest thing about such films is that they're so breezy and lightweight that whatever conflict ensues is easily resolved and the happy ending is assured.

Slightly better than most rom-com's. It's basically 'Sleepless in Seattle', but with e-mail.

Starts out interested but a bit too long for such a simple premise. Sleepless in Seattle was definitely better and even the supporting characters were not that interesting. Its simplicity is not that memorable and the pairing of Hanks and Ryan doesn't really sparkle. You've Got Mail is dated, but was effective in that point in time.

acctually this movie was ok but i dont like the ending its really predictable , and the line of the story is too long that makes me bored. believe it or not i have to seperate this into 3 times for me to watched until finish. cause i always fell asleep when watched this .....

There's a lot of charm to this film, especially in the closing fifteen minutes or so. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks have never been stronger and, though the film's plot is somewhat contrived, we believe the emotional connection the characters end up forming.

A pitch perfect romantic comedy. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks have great chemistry. The Dialogue is funny and smart. As far as date movies go, this one hits all the right marks.

This is probably my favorite pairing of Hanks and Ryan. Although Sleepless was sweet, this movie was charming and funny. It seems more modern and the story was easy to follow. I find myself continuing to watch this movie over and over again whenever it is on TV. Even though it is over a decade old, I think it could be made today again and still carry is fun and romantic message. If you haven't seen this movie, you should.

a really sweet and heart warming film that shows that the person that you are looking for is usually right under your nose and the last person that you would ever consider. meg ryan is so sweet, and tom hanks does a great job.
