A good romantic comedy starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. It is much less predictable then they usually are. It is very good actually. The Rome scenery is good and everything else id about this too. Gregory Peck is much better than he usually is too. Maybe comedy is more of his forte actually. It is entertaining throughout and it does not get into the pit fall that sometimes is expected. Oscar Nominee Best Supporting Actor Eddie Albert 2/5- Albert is just fine as Peck's photographer friend. He is good and fine in the film but he does not really need to do that much stuff. He is just fine in the friend role but he does not have much to do after that.

Not entirely uniquely, I love Audrey Hepburn. This happens to be my favorite film that she is in. Perhaps it is not her most artistic or difficult roll but the movie is cute and fun and always brings a smile to my face. It is Hepburn at her most genuine. Many see Gregory Peck as her elder, being far too old to play a romantic interest, but I think they work perfectly together. It is obvious the mutual respect and adoration they have for one another. It is the princess dream, every normal girls dream, flipped round. Hepburn's breakthrough roll melts my heart every time, even if it will never be considered epic or conceptually new.

"Charade" used to be my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie...until I saw this! Audrey is gorgeous and right up to par in her first film. Add to the Greg Peck and William Wyler; how could you go wrong. We get to see Rome through Audrey's eyes and fall in love with it and her at the same time.

I love this movie, especially since it has Audrey Hepburn and takes place in Europe. A classic!

A movie similar to "It Happened one night" although not as good. Hepburn is beautiful as always and peck does a decent job - although I prefer him in a non romantic role. All in all this is what romantic dramas used to be, and its a pretty good one still today.
