I'm always up for a little dysfunction, and this film delivered. Finding out awkward family secrets is bad enough, but to learn of them during said family member's funeral is infinitely worse. There are some memorable scenes - the tussle in the study with Peter Dinklage and Alan Tudyk tripping out are absolute screams, both of which must be seen to be believed. Loved it, and would recommend over the American remake any day.

Man. This is just not a good movie. There are a few amusing parts (thank you, Alan Tudyk), but the main conflict of the movie is very immoral, the central characters are grating, and the conclusion is extremely smaltzy. Not sure what they were trying for, but the result is a very unfunny, sappy mess where you are left with the painful realization of what a waste of 2 hours that was.

Come on! Got to give it to the Brits. A touch of Benny Hill humor,a disfunctional family (that most of us have) and some silly lines and moments, this one is surely a hilarious film. Even Oprah found this one to be a "delicious slapstick comedy that will have you dying with laughter!" Put in in your collection and enjoy with a good glass of wine and friends. Not to be missed.

I liked this British comedy. The ensemble cast worked great, the jokes (mostly) worked and it turned into one of the funniest movies on death you'll probably see. Adam Tudyk is my hero (so is Peter Dinklage).

I absolutely loved "Death at a Funeral." It truly is great how a movie about a funeral could be so hilarious. Leave it to the British to do such a feat. I truly loved the sight-gags and the hilarious writing. The beginning was so much more than I could've asked for and the laughs barrell-roll all the way to the hilarious conclusion. Oh, and watch out for those crazy dwarves. They's everywhere.

I was not impressed with this. I thought it was supposed to be an original comedy, but the jokes are predictable and not consistant. There are a few great moments here, but they feel misplaced in this sometimes dull comedy.
