Are you ready to see full douche Stiller. The Heartbreak Kid is about a man thinks he just married the perfect woman only to discover that she is a terrible person for him - just in time he meets the perfect woman. Ben Stiller's character in this movie is such a dick and such a big tool that I couldn't get into his character at all, i mean his the main character of the film and I should be cheering him on, but what went in my mind during the movie was "Just Die". Malin Akerman plays the annoying crazy wife that started off alright at the first, but then out of nowhere she turns into a crazy psycho wife. This movie has unlikable characters and a lazy cliche script.

There are a handful of hard laughs, but the characters and situations become more irritating as the movie progresses.

A rather mean-spirited, misogynistic comedy about falling in love fast and making mistakes; Stiller's character is utterly unlikable, but then we have to endure painfully unbelievable scenes of bad comic timing (are we to believe that these two never listened to music or ate together in 6 weeks?) was the final twist supposed to be funny or ironic? either way it didn't work. The funniest moments come from a mariachi band. Final Grade: C-

Ok Ben Stiller get over yourself and make a new character please! This is a good idea and a well written script but I am sick and tired of Stiller being the same in every movie. Owen Wilson has this problem as well they are both funny and yes when I watched Meet theParents and Along Came Polly I laugthed but then he got a bit boring. We need to see a new Stiller if we're going to make any progress. I prefered the jokes in this film that didnt surround Stiller and I especially liked the parts where he gets hurt.
