I really like anything about the revolutionary war and the founding fathers. This film is no different. I liked the songs and I liked the look. The singing was good and it was interesting to watch through the speaking parts. It actually had a much better story than most musicals since it is based on Historic event.

Perverse in tone, though not of tongue, this moving and hilarious musical comedy is one for the history books. John Adams, played expertly by Mr. Feeney (William Daniels), goes around in his obnoxious and disliked state in order to rally for the cause of independence from Britain. A great satire and rowdy, beautiful music shape the inner workings of this great cinematic gem.
