Catchfire (Backtrack) review

Anne Benton (Jodie Foster) witnesses murder managed by a mafioso named Leo Carelli (Joe Pesci). Leo sends a saxophone playing hitman named Milo (Dennis Hopper) to follow Benton. Bob (Charlie Sheen), boyfriend of Anne, is affected by the unfortunate incidents and Pinella (John Turturro), Milo's partner, is involved. The hitman follows Anne while Pinella notices something peculiar. Soundtrack had similar tones from Psycho and some settings feel dated. It was entertaining to see Pesci play a part close to his spectacular performances from Casino and Goodfellas. Screenplay felt clunky and fillers to the cat and mouse chase of a plot. If only the cops were believable and more interesting. Best line: "I need people..a cultural environment." - Anne. Overall, Catchfire feels like a …
