Mysterious tale of immortality told through character, rather than plot. It's more of a drama with horror elements. Del Toro's first feature and still one of his best.

An early, interesting film from Guillermo del Toro that starts off as kind of a mystery and then turns into the most unusual vampire story ever. If you like his other films, you should check this one out.
