Spencer Tracy is a priest, Frank Sinatra is a convict, and they're on an island ready to blow. Basically what you end up with is Papillon meets Dante's Peak. This cheesy disaster flick wastes a lot of time for the first two-thirds and then the climax seems rushed. Spencer Tracy appears to be trying at least.

A really nothing film that was a fun watch with my dad on TCM. Frank Sinatra plays a criminal and Spencer Tracy plays the priest who may or may not have lost his faith, who is trying to redeem Frank Sinatra's character. There is an island, a volcano, and a chance to prove their manliness.
