Funny Face review

Maggie Prescott (Kay Thompson) shoots at a book shop and encounters an intelligent clerk named Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn). The boss of Maggie and fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) think Jo has potential. Jo and Dick become close as they spend time together. Somewhat a fairytale conclusion and the songs prolonged the pace of the plot development. If this were a regular film and not a musical then this could have been more effective. The locations were lush, performance wonderful and acting sincere. Still, Funny Face is an entertaining musical romantic film with popular name stars worth viewing and enjoying with the well choreographed sing and dance sequences.
