One of the most beautifully shot films ever made. Whether the plot excites you or not, there is no doubting the brilliance of the Cinematography. Its stunning to look at.

Just for variety's sakes, I don't have the entire Tarkovsky's filmography in my top 10. So, I can say that this is the best WWII film I've ever seen and that contains a great acting by the kid that plays Ivan, a great music and of course, a great art direction, photography and cinematography. Strong and touching.
