A Greek mythology adventure epic with some appealing SFX from Ray Harryhausen, people today might say it's incredibly dated, but I think it's aged just fine.

The legendary Greek hero leads a team of intrepid adventurers in a perilous quest for the legendary Golden Fleece. Jason has been prophesied to take the throne of Thessaly. I grew up with this movie, I watched this movie seven times and it blows my mind every time I watched. The visual's may be out of date but when I first sawed it I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Swords and sorcery classic, still Harryhausen's best work in my opinion. In sticking more closely to the original Greek myths, the story has greater literary credibilty than most movies of this genre and it's hugely entertaining. The skeleton warrior sequence is an unforgettable special effects tour de force with the kind of character CGI can never hope to recreate.

Succeeds on the basis of being a purely fun fantasy adventure. The stop motion creatures, action scenes and mythical story never get old. I'd have to pick this as my favorite of Harryhausen's work, partly because of that awesome skeleton fight.

Another fantastic adventure thanks to the great Ray Harryhausen. Compared to Clash of the Titans, it's not quite as well done, but it's a rousing adventure none-the-less.

One of the classic claymation films that are fun to watch due to all the old timey special effects and all the references to the Greek gods. There is nothing deep, special or even that accurate to the original tale but it is fun to watch. Not as good as Clash of Titans though.
