Filled with risky heists and lewd debauchery, "Going Places" is a bitter yet spirited road comedy that's honestly more sad and cruel than it is funny.

Overall, this movie is pretty entertaining. Gerard Depardieu is great and there is an early cameo by Isabelle Huppert. It's not Bertrand Blier's best, but it's worth it to see for the performances. Jeanne Moreau's character is also very unnerving.
