"Little Caesar" has been hugely influential on the gangster genre since it was first realeased in the early 1930s.

It is, perhaps, the most classic of classic gangster movies. Edward G. Robinson really looks the part. I especially liked every time he said the word, "see." lol.

An effective enough gangster film because of Edward G. Robinson's performance. If he was not in it probably would not have been that noticeable because scenes are interjected poorly with one another that disrupt the flow terribly, and some important characters will go away for too long than come back later. None of the other characters besides Rico are very well played or developed particularly not Rico's old partner turned dancer who comes in and out of the movie poorly. But Thanks to Robinson mostly it is interesting to see Rico's fairly standard rise and fall but due to his performance it is worth watching.
