This unusually acidic Christmas comedy runs a little too long and crams in a few too many characters, but Monty Woolley supplies it with some terrifically funny lines while Bette Davis gives it its heart.

Pretty amusing comedy. Monty Woolley and Jimmy Durante are quite funny.

I agree, this movie is charming. I loved Monty Woolley and his insults. This was very fun and pleasant. Ive never seen Bette Davis on film before this so I won't judge her based on this. It wasn't as though she was bad, but her role wasn't that strong. Very fun movie though. I'd watch it again.

Pretty good and charming, delightful movie. Although Bette's role isn't the biggest, she definitely is the biggest star.
