Slow dance

Not a bad '70's horror film; however, even though I haven't seen very many of them in a very long time, it seems representative of the genre in that it is not terribly original, borrowing ideas from other (better) movies of the era. I suppose cannibalization within genres has existed in every decade.
And this one in particular plays like a TV movie, especially with its opening credits superimposed upon upcoming scenes. How weird to have that at the beginning of the movie. It could also be because I'm more used to Alan Alda as a television star rather than a movie star.
Some good atmosphere, but the more I think about it, I don't understand Jacqueline Bisset's motivation at the end. Perhaps it's for revenge, but I don't think it gains her what she wants, depriving the story of a …
