'The Mouse that Roared' is essentially a less vitriolic 'Dr. Strangelove'... but that's not a bad thing, as the film's (distinctly English) brevity and wit allow the vaudeville elements to merge seamlessly with pungent political satire. In short, this wonderful gem is hilarious for both young and old.
