The reason I dislike this movie is because it is slow and is a downer. Cary Grant had so many better movies.

Sadly, one of two movies that got Cary Grant an Oscar nomination (the other also undeserved for None But the Lonely Heart). A sappy, melancholy movie which quickly turns from light comedy to tragedy. Not altogether believable, and indifferently acted. Final Grade C+
