The 2004 film was so much better. Dolph Lundgren looks bored and drunk in this movie and that alone just made it more hilarious to watch. This is one of those "it's so bad that it's kind of funny to watch". Not once did I feel bored while watching the movie, because the whole time I was laughing my ass off at the stupid shit in this movie.

Not faithful at all to the comic. He doesn't even have the signature skull on his shirt. Though, the film is a decent low-budget 80's action flick and it's quite fun to watch Dolph Lundgren destroy tons of bad guys. You could count it as a guilty pleasure.

This movie is a decent entertaing action movie. Dolph Lundgren plays a former NYPD detective, Frank Castle who loses his family to a mob hit.Then on becomes a one-man judge, jury and executioner. For me i liked the 2004 verison with Thomas Jane alittle bit more than this one. The action sequences were done well for a low-budget movie, but with all the action going on it felt more like watch a video game because there is very little taking in this movie. It just a shut your brain off for 92 mins. and sit back and enjoy time killer.
