A very stylish horror film with some great imagery, but I was expecting more. The build up of tension and suspense is tangible but it's all deflated by an unsatisfying ending. Just seeing a bunch of people keeling over in a copse seemed hugely anti-climactic to me.

this is the backstory of sadako, before she became a monster. she was actually completely adorable.
