Sheitan, Haven't I Seen You Somewhere Before?

A French film that is a cross between The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Deliverance. Apparently the French also have backwoods inbred rednecks.
The main drawback here is the story takes forever to get going and the main characters are all a bunch of punk kids. I was rooting for the bad guys to get with the program and start skinning them alive or whatever. It didn't pick up steam until the last 20 minutes or so, and I don't know if it was worth the wait. Still, fans of the horror genre should check this out, if nothing more than to watch Vincent Cassel completely creep you out.
There is a religious angle to the film as well, but it didn't really elevate the film to the next level, at least not for me. This film would probably go better on a dark night and the right atmosphere, …
