Even as a silent film, this is inventively clever and full of skillful camera tricks and special effects that are way ahead of its time.

Out of the Keaton films I've seen so far this one is the best. Sherlock Jr. is one of the great silent comedies and may even come close to beating most of Chaplin's movies.

A wonderful charming funny movie. I don't know what could be better than Buster as a projectionist/detective and a love story.
