Three Ages review

A personal favorite because of the inter-cut films from the prehistoric times, ancient Rome, and modern times. Wonderful set pieces, his abilities were really challenged in this film about love in different era's. Of all the Keaton films, this one made me laugh and smile the most. Set pieces/chariots from the Roman era, the rocks utilized in the prehistoric times and the broken down car were just a few that was used. Having 3 stories in a film were creative, maybe one of the innovators in terms of its method. The twist in the story of the modern time was a good touch. A minor reservation I noticed was the film's quality, it really bother's the continuation of the story. Nevertheless, Three Ages manages to bring in the laughs and various methods of courting and effects of love.
