not great but not bad either. At least there was a half way decent plot, and the acting wasn't bad.

I was pleasantly suprised by this movie. Ok, it's not all that funny, but it does have it's moments. At the same time, I found the storyline intriguing. It may not have been all that believeable, but at times it reminded me of another film I enjoyed long ago called 9-5. I thought the actresses played very well off of each other, and enjoyed the role played by Diane Keaton very much. I also thought Ted Danson was a very nice fit in his role as well. It's no Oscar winner, but I would put this on my list of movies to see if you just want to be entertained.

Weirdly enough, this movie wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Queen Latifah plays the tough mother who cares about her kid. Diane Keaton plays the woman who's been well-off but now has to fend for herself in tough times. Katie Holmes plays the girl who likes to dance a lot and get into trouble. Callie Khouri (Thelma & Louise) needs a comeback vehicle bad and this isn't it. However, it managed to be enjoyable. It was sort of a waste of time for the most part, though. THE END

This solidified my opinion that Katie Holmes is an insult to actresses everywhere and should be banned from the silver screen... ::Ahh:: Okay, that being let off my chest, I would also like to express my disappointment in Diane Keaton...this was a God-awful performance that fit you like a clearance-priced extra-small angora sweater...Woman - what were you thinking!? (Dollar signs I suppose.) How do you sleep at night?? Remarkably, Queen Latifah saves this film (if one can even consider it worth "saving")

This movie was OK. It was interesting, but totally unbeliveable.

From the very few previews I saw of this movie I thought that it was going to be a funny movie with a great cast of characters. What a dissapointment. About half-way through this renter I told my husband that it was boring and dumb. It wasn't the worst movie I've seen, but with a great trio of girls as the cast of characters it was a bit sad for all of their careers.
