This movie could have been very good. I liked the story, and the blame is not with the actors either. The director made to many weird decisions. The timing is off and the pace in the movie is way too slow. The movie quite controversial as well as the woman with the slit mouth hurt children. I had mixed emotions about many things here. I don’t like violence against children. Terrible things happen in this movie. For some reason the director have decited that got to be a good break in between every event there, and I don’t agree with the use of sounds and music. I never jumped or got chills. With a higher pace and proper use of music to build up suspense this movie could have gotten 1 more star from me.

I think curse of the slit-faced woman is a good title, but apparently it's too long. Anyway, this is a pretty typical J-horror entry with an urban legend twist. The main villain (said slit-faced woman) is pretty damn creepy, though.
