A prime example of 'what not to do' when it comes to horror. Predictable and painfully cliche slasher flick. Between this movie and The Unborn, 2008 was difficult time for Idris Elba.

Stereotypical, poorly acted characters get killed in the least interesting ways, with as little gore as possible. Not scary at all; complete borefest. Avoid.

Proving that the 80s no longer has a stranglehold on generic slasher films, this updated prom night is about as bland as you can get with a horror film. Watch thinly-developed character get killed, feel nothing, repeat.

In conclusion: I saw this movie awhile ago and I thought it was interseting. It's more suspenceful than scary, though. The plot was clear and clever. The storyline was rather predictable. The characters didn't act very realistic. My overall rating is 7/10.
