The title seemed cool, 2 of the best actors in their generation and a solid supporting cast and still it wasn't enough. Righteous Kill could have been good if it had better direction, cinematography, a catchy score and a decent screenplay. So many elements were gone, you hated De Niro's character for being so vulgar and still you don't feel any impact in the ending. This movie could have had potential. So many if's, such a waste of talent and people's time too. It was intriguing seeing them work together, too bad its the only reason your going to see this.

A decent rental movie if you like Pacino and DeNiro. They seem a little old, but at least the film is interesting and it has its moments.

I was expecting more from De Niro and Pacino - two titans that pretty much sleep-walk through their roles. I though it was a dull affair that tried way too hard without much payoff.

I wish this film never happened. De Niro and Pacino, once great and adored by millions, and what do they give us in return? This film is hopeless. It extinguishes any respect you may still have for these two. A complete and utter travesty.

I guess that I just expected this to be the "Heat" that "Heat" was not. But, it just wasn't. I still love De Niro and Pacino though.

Predictable, less than mediocre cop movie that just happens to have De Niro and Pacino together on screen. Good actors, lame movie.

A disheveled cop drama that is no better than the worst episode of any tv cop drama; DeNiro and Pacino sleepwalk through this tired, lifeless genre exercise which has no excitement, suspense or humor and tries to liven things up with one of the most predictable twists ever committed to film; Dennehy is especially wasted as the hard-ass lieutenant, and about the best I can possibly say is that at least no one is ever asked to turn in their badge and gun like all other detective dramas of this ilk. See if you can count how many times DeNiro calls someone a mutt or a dog. Final Grade: D+

Predictable and boring are probably the most accurate description of what Righteous Kill is all about. To me it was like watching a bad episode of CSI. It wasn't even close to entertaining having a serial killer who writes poems. Acting was mediocre and the cast was not brilliant as they should. The tandem between Pacino and De Niro was not something to buzz about after all.
