Better than average Bette Davis movie. I'm glad to have seen it, for Bette is raucous as always. This is like the 61st Bette Davis film and I'm happy to see it the year of her centenary. Keep in mind this film was released right after the production code was put in place. It seems like the ending may have been changed to fit the new code's standards for a "Moral Ending".
