There is an attempt to wake up an emperor and its terracotta warriors. Better Indiana Jones like sets and grandiose costumes. Muck like the rest of the series, acting was over the top, coy lines and humor was not effective. Pace of the story moved very very slow. Effects were the only thing interesting in this picture. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor's overall output was dull and lacked charm.

Even taking this tired franchise to a new location can't save it from what it is - mindless action, cheap jokes, historical inaccuracy, zero scares, and Brendan Fraser's painful rubber face method of over-acting.

Rob Cohen, na direção, é tão vulgar e desastrado que faz os capítulos anteriores de Stephen Sommers parecerem obras-primas de elegância formal. Aqui, a série descamba de vez para a tosqueira e a comédia rasgada. Uma pena.

Chinese mummies are awesome. Unfortunately, this isn't a movie about mummies -- it's about daddy. If you didn't give a damn about Indian Jones and his father-son issues, this film will be painfully boring. Maria Bello replaces Rachel Weisz has Mrs. O'Connell. Unfortunately, you just can't replace the original mummy.

Hugely disappointing. Yeah, all the critics said it sucked ('cept ebert). They were right. None of the fun of the original is here and Chinese mummies just aren't the same. Rob Cohen sucks real bad.
