Did anyone really have to be paid to write a review of this? I mean what did you expect from a movie with that kind of title? Robert Rodriguez held off production of a Sin City sequel for almost ten years because he felt like people were begging for crap like this. Trust me, no one wanted a movie with the title "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D".

Max makes his own dreamworld and characters But when his made-up characters invade the real world, Max is the only one who can save his creation from being forever destroyed. The 3-D in this movie is really terrible and the visual effect's are crappy looking and it looks like it from the sci-fi channel. The acting is bad, the music is bad, everything is bad.

Surprisingly fun and inventive, but too often laughable and predictable kid adventure that depends a lot on the imagination of dreams. Definitely one for the youngsters. Final Grade: C+
