An obnoxious and misanthropic dentist dies on the operating table and when he is revived finds he can communicate with the dead. Pincus is hounded by the spirits needing closure led by recently deceased Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) who wants Pincus to ruin his widow’s relationship with a lawyer. Pincus immediately falls for Gwen (Tea Leoni) and agrees, but most overcome his own personality and self-history to win her over.
A strong cast can do quite a lot for a so-so movie. Those unfamiliar with British actor …
