Cornel Wilde plays a hunter forced to strip down, surrender his weapons, and then run for his life in the African wilderness by vengeful tribesmen. Beautiful scenery shot on location in South Africa and a harrowing series of chase scenes makes 'THE NAKED PREY' an unusual but entertaining example of the safari genre.

A thorough exercise in bare-bones savageness. The movie wastes no time in getting to the action. One man versus a tribe of natives. This is the sole focus of it's entirety. An hour and a half of pure survival, in the most primitive way possible. It's all completely unflinching. The chase mirrors that of the various animals hunting each other around the human characters. Exciting from start to finish.
