A Polish survivor (Cortese) from a Nazi death camp assumes the identity of a deceased friend and travels to her home in America. Only to become wrapped up in a mystery that puts her life in grave danger. The plot is a bit too complicated to follow at times. Robert Wise tries to lend some style to the direction but it's not one of his best movies.
