Enjoyed the movie. The filming, angles cinematography where all a bit different so this was of interest. Great traditional plot. Not sure if it should have got so many academy awards, but I suppose its nice to see something different/

This was a great movie. Because of all of the hype and awards surrounding it you go in expecting a lot and you definitely get it. It may start off a tad slow in the beginning, but after the first five minutes you're hooked. While you're expecting to watch an Indian version of Good Will Hunting the movie definitely goes off in a different direction where the main character Jamal is able to use his life experience to answer questions on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire. What makes the movie even better is that the kid isn't really in it for the money. His one goal is that all time favorite...love

A good movie with some great parts. The movie is a wining effort because its full of life and energy, thanks to some brilliant direction from Danny Boyle. This movie was wonderfully shot and edited. "Slumdog Millionaire" also has a clever screenplay that gets the most out of its characters. There is even a good proformances from Dev Patel, Anil Kapoor, and Freida Pinto. Sadly, this movie suffers from a pretty predictable and rushed 3rd act. Yeah, the movie is something different than the usual movies you see, but i feel it is overrated and didnt derserve all the awards it received.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!! I waited so long to see it, and it was definitely worth it. I never wanted it to end. It's one of the best love movies that I have seen in a while. It's eye opening and probably one of the best date movies ever made.

An irrisistible underdog story told with dramatic flourish from director Danny Boyle about a poor boy from Mumbai who experiences hardships and loses the love of his love every time he finds her again. I was a little bothered by the way the final Millionaire question was handled, but other than that, this crowd-pleaser is a hands-down winner. Final Grade: A-

This was an excellent movie. I loved the story and they used the flow between game show and life very well. A well crafted plot that tugs at your heart strings and some very tense moments. There was no outstanding performance in my opinion but it was extremely well done and solid all around. The Indian backdrop was excellent and the story arc reminded me of an Indian Scarface. The end seemed predictable but I think the movie overall gave you reason enough to doubt a happy ending so the suspense was still there.

Its not easy to go see a movie this over hyped, but after the first hour you are so hooked you don´t ever want this movie to end. The magic of this movie is impossible to deny!

What a remarkable way to tell a love story. As with all Boyle films, Slumdog is heavy with amazing shots and snazzy editing. There are elegant transitions here and an overall rhythm that sweeps you into (and along with) the action on screen. And of course, the soundtrack is simply perfect. The performances are just as perfect, with endearing actors that swiftly stole my heart. This film absolutely deserved the Oscar, as did Mr. Boyle.
