Seth Rogen has never been this scary, and no, I'm not even joking. His character in this movie is a dangerous narcissist who hurts everyone he comes across, emotionally and physically. He's almost like Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver but thrown in a comedy.

Occasionally a movie dares to go someplace new that no film has went before; Observe and Report is a perfect example of this. This movie breaks pretty much every possible film taboo. This comedy movie is filled with violence, controversy, and ridiculousness. I personally respect and love this movie, but Observe and Report isn't designed to be a crowd pleaser with all of its controversies. If you want a hilarious comedy movie with a completely unique, original, and unpredictable story filled with violence, drugs, and every other taboo, you may also love this cult gem.

A darkly comedic take on a "Taxi Driver" sort of story. Seth Rogen plays against type and I liked the way the film doesn't try to sugarcoat how generally flawed all the characters are. Extremely funny if you can get past the fact that it's a comedy that doesn't play nice.

This movie is exacly what you think it is. It is stupid mind numbing humor. Thats it, if you go into this expecting the next Boondock Saints or Godfather then you are horribly confused. This movie is nothing more then stupid joke with lame punch lines, but my god is it funny. The ending made it all worth while for me. Watch this movie to kill a couple hours and just veg out

If you ever wondered what Taxi Driver might have been like had is been more of a comedy, then here you are. Seth Rogen is no DeNiro, and this dark comedy suffers from lack of cohesion. Plus the characters are never really likable, so without a connection the film just meanders on to the end.

Mean spirited, very dark comedy that may disappoint the majority of people wanting to see a Seth Rogan comedy. I laughed sporadically, but most of it I felt bad for afterwards. Comedies aren't supposed to make you feel down, or guilty. There is a serious lack of fun here. Seth's character is disturbed and unlikeable most of the time and all the others are just evil. I can see maybe where the writer/director was going, but he went way too far.

What's not to like about it? It's crass and has Seth Rogen in it! I really don't understand S.R.'s appeal or how guys adore this man. Chicks don't dig him. However, Jody Hill is a decent director. But the fact that they fought for all the "F" words and all the penis shot in this movie doesn't mean that this is a classic like Casablanca, or even Garden State. Let's hope Jody Hill grows up one day. And let's hope Seth Rogen stops starring in films altogether.
