It seemed interesting at first. I even put aside totally unconvincing and cold, much more buddy than marital relationship between Polley and Brody, for the sake of their curious experiment, expecting to see some important issues raised. But as everything seemed wrong also from the very start, it couldn't develop better either - movie took wrong turn everywhere it could. I wanted it to instruct, but the main intent of the filmmakers was to shock and please those who perversely desired the movie to go to that direction.

I really expected to be watching another piece of crap like The Human Centipede.but Splice was pretty good.It had enough to keep me wondering what was gonna happen next.I kinda figured out the ending during the middle of the movie

hmm, interesting movie this was. Not bad, if you're into the whole sci-fi thing. There was one scene when I yelled at the screen "NO Don't do it" but he didn't listen, lol. Kind of predictable, just knew certain things were going to happen

A twisted sci-fi/horror hybrid. The good outweighs the bad here and the messed up ending made me like it even more.

This movie was a little over-the-top and ridiculous by the end. The writer of this film must have been a bit deranged. It isn't a bad film, it is worth seeing, but be prepared for a few interesting moments that you normally will not see in other movies. I'd actually classify this a little more sci-fi than horror, cause really only the last part of the movie resembled a horror flick to me. This average flick will be talked about but soon forgotten.

it is a version in my opinion of Species; Just not as well done as either of those 2 films. .. I liked the story line where it revolved a bit around "fred and Ginger" but once it headed full force dealing with Dren, I lost interest..Sarah Polley's character was just a jumble of "DO something! now" with little support for her way of thinking. I don't know how Adrian Brodey got pulled in to do this film. Would that he drowned this movie script like he did Dren in the tub. . David Hewlett is just as obnoxious here as his character,Rodney mccay on Stargate.. It didn't really hold any major surprised for me and I was pleased when it was finally over.. could have been so much more with a little tweaking.
