By no means a touchstone motion picture, but "As Good as It Gets" is an approachable mix of moments that are either funny or melancholy, and sometimes both at once.

Inexplicably over-rated and unbelievable romcom. A smattering of decent lines for Jack but if anyone but he were in it, it would've slipped by comparatively unnoticed I suspect.

Strikes that perfect blend of comedy and drama, thanks to excellent writing and acting. Great characters and dialogue. Nicholson is particularly memorable. Some of the musical cues may come off a little schmaltzy, but that didn't keep me from completely enjoying this film.

Sarcastically funny and wittily written. Nicholson is in top form here, but Cuba Gooding Jr. and Greg Kinnear also offer some fitting, understated performances.

Amazingly hysterical and heartfelt with two of the best performances by Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt.

Don't you just love a movie with Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Greg Kinnear???? They made you forget that they were acting and made you believe they were real people. The story is amazing. You really feel the struggle that Melvin is going through with having OCD. This movie is one of the best movies of all time.

Standout performances from Nicholson and Hunt make this a standout film. The supporting cast, lead by Greg Kinnear, also help. Just an all-around good movie.

It's a very good movie. A modern classic, really. Nicholson can do no wrong, and in this movie, he proves it!

Nicholson's character is so rude, obnoxious and politically incorrect that you can't help but laugh. Kinnear and Hunt deliver solid supporting performances as well.

Jack Nicholson's performance as a man with many problems, being a germaphobe, having OCD, manic depressive and a number of other lesser disorders was amazing. Being one of my favorite stars Jack shows in this film that while he still seems to play himself, he can still make people feel a wide arrange of emotion. You will feel for him, and loathe him at the same time. A great movie!
