Any movie that has a hardcore Green Goblin sex scene is worth watching, even if it was a stunt Co*k. A dark look into couples life after loosing a child. I really enjoyed watching them tumble into darkness. It may e called art house, but the production value far surpassed any Warhol flick.

This art house, drama, horror show gives an accurate take on anxiety. It's beautifully filmed and there is a lot of symbolism, most of which I don't understand, but it's audacity is what stands out the most. The third part descends into some gruesome and repulsive acts that are effectively hard to watch, yet I couldn't look away. It's a film that inflicts it's character's pain onto the viewer, but knows when not to go too far.

A very dark film that plumbs the depths of human nature and toes the line between superstition and psychology - plenty of symbolism, often bizarre. There's a lot of sex, but never titillating, and some pretty horrific violence. I can't imagine what it means, but I know it pushed my buttons, made me squirm, and that counts for something.

Definitely not a film for all tastes, Antichrist could be construed as a sick grotesque and pretty depraved movie. Controversial to say the least, this is a film, which for all its despair and sadism is absolutely mesmerizing. Frequently disturbing and unflinching, Antichrist is nevertheless potent to the max and never becomes boring or obvious. Although director Lars Von Trier may have some serious issues, his work is always unique and challenging. Not for the squeamish or easily offended.

Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg are among today's finest actors. Then, how, can Lars von Trier take that talent and completely waste and ruin it? Unfortunately, this film is full of gimmicks and imagery that does not make sense. Sure it's not supposed to. But I don't really want to see films like this and I wouldn't have had it not been for the actors. Sure Charlotte Gainsbourg is amazing, but still, this film is pretty much unnecessary and superfluous.
