Harmless (and short) children’s movie is pretty much a remake of The Lion King (but nowhere near as good). The CGI is below par compared to a number of movies recently released but some of the voice work is quite good especially Sam Elliot and Danny Glover. The plot while hardly original does at least introduce some good characters and a lot of the musical scenes in the barn are inspired. All in all, a mixed bag, better than Madagascar but not in the same league as the Pixar movies or the Shrek films
