Not a horrible remake, but it moved so slowly - it tried to build tension and failed at every turn. I don't remember much about the original (other than Locke played a bad guy) but it was obviously better than this one.

Movie was horribly slow paced... watch the Original! it seems since Zombie remade, put his own take on Halloween everyone else thinks they can do the same & make it good... sorry no.

Standard, predictable stuff here, which works for most of the movie, though it's a little heavy on the creepy music and dark shadows. Sela Ward sadly plays the dumbest person on Earth, and everything was okay up until the unsatisfying ending, which of course has to have a twist that isn't what the viewer wants at all.
