Rowan Atkinson's iconic character makes a big screen debut and there's no doubt he was better taken in small doses on the telly.

They ship him off to L.A. as an "art scholar" to present and protect the just-donated painting Whistler's Mother at a small museum. But Bean is far from being a scholar and the painting is anything but safe in his keep. This movie has a lot of funny and some stupid and I don't know if i should laugh at that moment.

The story just serves to string together some really funny moments, but they are good enough for a watch. Fans of Bean will like this.

Rowan Atkinson's Mr. Bean schtick is endearing and sometimes funny, but the movie mostly suffers from a lack of direction that is frustrating and stifles the comedy. Even after what you think is the main plotline has resolved itself, the film still finds a way to continue pointlessly for another thirty minutes or so.

Funny in parts, but Bean is better in small doses - the TV show was much funnier than this feature length production. Still, if you like Rowan Atkinson's Bean, you'll enjoy the movie.
