You've got a fun Travolta performance here, but everything else is by-the-numbers and bland.

If you'd like to see John Travolta curse up a storm and kill indiscriminately, here's your movie. It tries to throw in a few twists, but really, it's just a lot of shooting and cursing with a loose story about terrorism thrown in for good measure.

this movie is good. i ALMOST love it! i love the two lead characters but not James Reece at the end! James Reece didn't want to kill anybody but he killed his fiance, i like romance movies but i don't like this movie ended.. i expected more of James's love with Caroline.. i'm lost with the plot! like other reviews, i want to compare it with the movie TAKEN... uhmm.. Taken is better than this movie but not with a large gap.. Travolta entertains me. Meyers? this is the first time i see him, i think i have to see others of his movies before judging him.. watch it and let's see if you will love it..

Two words: completely predictable. If you want some cheap laughs and some sub-par action scenes that randomly appear throughout a film, watch this movie. Otherwise watch something else.

John Travolta is a maniac in this movie. I love crazy Travolta. Meyers' performance was decent, although he honestly didn't have that much to work with. His character was a bit of a mystery, not mysterious, but just a plane old mystery. Who does this guy work for? Is he really an assistant or is he part of some covert government operation? No one knows. No one will ever find out. The plot was a little lost until about middway through the film, but then everything started to make sense (so much that it actually became a little predictable). However, what this movie lacks in plot and storyline it makes up for in action and humor which always makes for a good combination. There were a lot of fun moments which made the movie enjoyable.
