One of the most insulting, misleading and false movie I've ever seen. I never liked the "base on a true story" thing that's in every found footage film, but The Fourth Kind pissed me off so much that I couldn't finish it, because the movie sloppily adverse itself as a "real life story" of these strange encounters that never happened. The dialogue is laughable, the acting was unconvincing and everything in this movie failed.

This film was being sold on the fact that it featured 'real' footage of abduction, but every single bit of it is blatantly fake and completely stupid. It's all a bunch of very strange and tediously long moments with a half assed story built around it. Waste of time.

I mainly just fast forwarded through this movie to see the "documentary footage"

If this was actually based in reality, it would have been much better - instead, they use fake footage and then make a movie around it and while parts of the movie are unsettling, knowing nothing is real just makes it another mediocre horror film.

If this movie knew what it wanted to be, it didn't convey that to me. Watching it was a frustrating experience.

What do get when you cross Forrest Gump with "My Name is Earl"? The answer Joe Dirt. Joe Dirt was actually kind of funny. Not a lot of the humor was gross out humor, which surprised me. David Spade wasn't really acting, just talking with a southern accent. But it's not like I expected Oscar-Worthy performances, I was just looking for a laugh or two. Overall, Joe Dirt was a fun ride but nothing special. 6.1/10

A wannabe professor funds a terribly bad and ridiculous study on alien activity in Alaska. A town begins to see owls watching them and any time they go to speak with a therapist they begin speaking a dead language that is only partially translated, they evidently couldn't completely fund the translators, and reveals that one alien thinks it is god and therefore abducts children. The bad and fake, yes it is fake, video clips just and salt to the atrocity of the brain wounds you'll receive.

first, it really thrills me! haha! the movie is great, i love the way the real videos are inserted to the film. the acting is good. The story made me think. i am intrigued to what happened to ashley. at first, i thought it will be a non-sense movie, i never heard about it before i went to the cinema and have watched it. i just don't appreciate the first and the last part when Mila Jovovich appeared and say things..

"The Fourth Kind" was incredibly believable, though it actually is not. It truly had me sold until I researched its validity. The way the film was made actually caused me fear, true fear! Not since "Paranormal Activity" did I feel such uneasiness in a movie. Milla Jovovich was grand at playing a helpless woman in the face of retribution from forces that she couldn't understand nor could she control. Very well writeen, well directed, well acted, and well produced, this movie will go down as one of the best thrillers of the year!
