Matt Damon plays a U.S. officer looking for the truth in Iraq. When faulty information and the failure of covert operations uncover a different truth, he goes rogue, hoping to track down the truth on his own. I always have a thing about Paul Greengrass movies and that is that look and the feel of it, and what I mean about that is his movies always have that this is happen and it is bad like his other films and this one as well. This movie has good acting and good story, But they are some slow parts that I thought could have been cut out but overall it's a good movie.

Enough action to keep things moving with a dramatic story that keeps up the tension. While I know fact and fiction have been mixed, just the idea this is based on true events is enough to make you think about what happens behind the scenes and how it affects millions.

Lots of action, lots of conspiracy, lots of politics, and a good cast make for a decent film. Based loosely on real events (and I really stress the word loosely), Damon plays a soldier trying to uncover the real reasons for the Iraq war. As always, the Damon-Greengrass pairing is extremely strong, and there's a pretty good supporting cast as well (though Amy Ryan isn't really given much to do). It's important to keep paying attention, a lot of stuff goes down and it's easy to get lost, but all in all, it's decent.

It's hard to imagine that something so horrific could be so true.

Fact and some fiction combine to tell a story of truth and injustice. Green Zone is executed in a way that feels more like a documentary. The characters have conflict and situations that are more than believable. The film's action is grounded in reality and works with the story, making it very compelling. You will be rooting for the main character, as well as sharing all his victories and setbacks in uncovering the truth about those mysterious WMD's. This film is just what we needed, an honest and straightforward look at these avoidable events. And it's pretty entertaining to boot.
