I love this movie. Jeff Bridges and John Goodman make a great pair. the Coen brothers are great in their use of humor in the film. it also has some unforgettable lines.

I've never been a huge Coen Brothers fan, but this movie is irresistible. Jeff Bridges gives one of my favorite performances as The Dude, a victim of mistaken identity who finds himself into all sorts of scenarios. If you haven't seen this, check it out immediately.

Ok in my opnion no matter what the coen brothers make from now on they rule simply for this movie. It is possibly the funniest movie i have ever seen, that had no single overtly hilarious parts. With most of todays comedies having 2 or 3 amazingly funny parts(that are in the trailer anyway) then the rest is crap, it is awesome to watch a movie that is just start to finish constantly kinda funny, and has a plot and characters that can stand on their own without gangs and shenannigans.

If you can't appreciate the BIg Lebowski, we may have problem. A comedy like no other I can think of - this film has a lot more layers than what you would expect. You will laugh - you will quote - you will have fun. The Dude Abides.

This movie is the perfect comedy drama as the script is great. The music and acting are top notch and the way the plot unfolds is seldom seen in Hollywood. In my mind, a slight notch above "Fargo."
